Exam structure
The Swiss theory exam lasts about 45 minutes and consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.
Each question has 3 answer options. Only one is correct.
Passing requirements
You need at least 27 correct answers (90%) to pass.
You are allowed a maximum of 2 errors. A third error results in a fail.
Topics covered
The exam covers traffic rules, road signs, right-of-way, stopping and parking, and vehicle knowledge.
